Pages: 320
Publisher: MTV Books (July 10th 2012)

A sexy and poignant romantic tale of a young daredevil pilot caught between two brothers.

High school senior Leah Jones loves nothing more than flying. While she’s in the air, it’s easy to forget life with her absentee mother at the low-rent end of a South Carolina beach town. When her flight instructor, Mr. Hall, hires her to fly for his banner advertising business, she sees it as her ticket out of the trailer park. And when he dies suddenly, she’s afraid her flying career is gone forever.

But Mr. Hall’s teenage sons, golden boy Alec and adrenaline junkie Grayson, are determined to keep the banner planes flying. Though Leah has crushed on Grayson for years, she’s leery of getting involved in what now seems like a doomed business — until Grayson betrays her by digging up her most damning secret. Holding it over her head, he forces her to fly for secret reasons of his own, reasons involving Alec. Now Leah finds herself drawn into a battle between brothers — and the consequences could be deadly.

Four girls. One magical, and possibly dangerous Italian summer. Family mysteries, ancient castles, long hot nights of dancing under the stars . . . and, of course, plenty of gorgeous Italian boys!

My Review:

Before: I wanted to read this book a long time ago. It seems like a really fun read. So when I saw it on NetGalley, I screamed with excitement. First of all family mysteries?! Yes please. AND GORGEOUS ITALIAN BOYS. YUM!

First Chapter: The main's girl name is Violet. She lives in London with her mom. One day she went to a museum and she saw a girl that look exactly like her in a painting. She decided to go search about the family online but there was barely any information on it. Then she ask her mom if she can go to Italy to study more about art.

Violet doesn't look like her mother or her father. Her mom is a classic Scandinavia blonde and her father is Scottish. Violet looks like an Italian girl. She always wonders why she looks so different. She ask herself " Am I adopted? " all the time.

When she arrives at Italy. There's three other girls staying with her.

Violet fell in love with Luca. The bad thing was Elisa like him too.

After visiting the princess's house, bad things started to happen...

Overall it was a really good read! It would be a great summer read :)

We all want to be remembered. Charlotte's destiny is to be Forgotten...

Charlotte’s best friend thinks Charlotte might be psychic. Her boyfriend thinks she’s cheating on him. But Charlotte knows what’s really wrong: She is one of the Forgotten, a kind of angel on earth, who feels the Need—a powerful, uncontrollable draw to help someone, usually a stranger.

But Charlotte never wanted this responsibility. What she wants is to help her best friend, whose life is spiraling out of control. She wants to lie in her boyfriend's arms forever. But as the Need grows stronger, it begins to take a dangerous toll on Charlotte. And who she was, is, and will become--her mark on this earth, her very existence--is in jeopardy of disappearing completely.

My Review

I was always curious why everyone liked this book. The cover is so pretty! Also the second book is coming out soon, so why not read the first book?

I really did love this book. I can understand what's happening and also why it was. It gives a lot of details. I love the relationship between Charlotte and Harlin. I would love a boyfriend like Harlin. I'm so surprised that Harlin hold on to Charlotte for soooo long. I didn't like the way Charlotte kept secrets from him but I can understand why, I would too. I love her bestfriend! She's so caring and fun. I love her personality. But also I hate the way she react when they were talking after she forgotten Charlotte.

Charlotte is a forgotten. She has the power to make someone do the right thing. She's been doing this since she was a little kid, but it's getting worse and worse every day. She has a need to help someone. If she tries not to help them then she'll died...

Overall it's a really good book. I totally think you should read this if you want a short read. I kinda wish it was longer since it ends at a cliffhanger. I gave this 4/5 stars!
