Best I've Read So Far: We're half way through the year (crazy how time flies!), which top 3 books are the best you've read so far this year?
Divergent by Veronica Roth. I love this book soooo much! I can't believe I didn't pick this book up earlier! I was probably the last person to read this book. Even all my friends read the book before me. Sad, I know.
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I heard amazing things about this book and I was curious. I wanted to at least read the first book so I wasn't left behind. I hate being the only one who hasn't read the book. I absolutely love this book! I can't wait to read the second book. :)
Rapture by Lauren Kate. I just read this book recently and loved it! I was very happy to finally end the series. This book was probably my favorite out of all the books in the series. I would love to reread this series when I have time.
I love both the City of Bones series and the Fallen series and i have Divergent on my to read list this year. Great Pick :-)

I hang my head in shame that I've yet to read Divergent haha. I keep meaning to, and it's sitting on my shelf! I just haven't quite gotten to it yet. But soon! Mostly because I"m not sure how much longer I can avoid spoilers haha. And hooray for another Mortal Instruments fan, I absolutely love that series! It keeps getting better, too.

Personally, not a fan of the Fallen series, so I haven't read Rapture, but I LOVE your other two choices! Both are favourites of mine!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices! I think I'm more excited to read the second book than City of Bones. I think it set it up nicely! I cannot WAIT to read Divergent! I still haven't gotten it yet - And I just picked up the first book Fallen. Very exciting :)

I really loved Divergent when I read it last year! Haven't read anything by Lauren Kate yet, mainly because most people I know seem to rather dislike it, but I think I should give it a chance one day. :D

I am SO GLAD that you read Divergent. That book is absolutely brilliant, and I can't wait for you to read Insurgent. City of Bones, I read a long time ago, and I'm definitely overdue for a reread.
