Pages: 314
Publisher: EgmontUSA (April 10th 2012)
True love’s kiss just may prove deadly....
Mirabelle’s past is shrouded in secrecy, from her parents’ tragic deaths to her guardians’ half-truths about why she can’t return to her birthplace, Beau Rivage. Desperate to see the town, Mira runs away a week before her sixteenth birthday—and discovers a world she never could have imagined.
In Beau Rivage, nothing is what it seems—the strangely pale girl with a morbid interest in apples, the obnoxious playboy who’s a beast to everyone he meets, and the chivalrous guy who has a thing for damsels in distress. Here, fairy tales come to life, curses are awakened, and ancient stories are played out again and again.
But fairy tales aren’t pretty things, and they don’t always end in happily ever after. Mira has a role to play, a fairy-tale destiny to embrace or resist. As she struggles to take control of her fate, Mira is drawn into the lives of two brothers with fairy-tale curses of their own ... brothers who share a dark secret. And she’ll find that love, just like fairy tales, can have sharp edges and hidden thorns.

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
Title/Author: Purity by Jackson Pearce
Pages: 224
Publisher: Little, Brown Children's
A novel about love, loss, and sex -- but not necessarily in that order.
Before her mother died, Shelby promised three things: to listen to her father, to love as much as possible, and to live without restraint. Those Promises become harder to keep when Shelby's father joins the planning committee for the Princess Ball, an annual dance that ends with a ceremonial vow to live pure lives -- in other words, no "bad behavior," no breaking the rules, and definitely no sex.
Torn between Promises One and Three, Shelby makes a decision -- to exploit a loophole and lose her virginity before taking the vow. But somewhere between failed hookup attempts and helping her dad plan the ball, Shelby starts to understand what her mother really meant, what her father really needs, and who really has the right to her purity.
Title/Author: Take a Bow by Elizabeth Eulberg
Pages: 278
Publisher: Point (April 1, 2012)
From the fantastic author of The Lonely Hearts Club and Prom & Prejudice comes a story of all the drama and comedy of four friends who grow into themselves at a performing arts high school.

From the fantastic author of The Lonely Hearts Club and Prom & Prejudice comes a story of all the drama and comedy of four friends who grow into themselves at a performing arts high school.
Emme, Sophie, Ethan, and Carter are seniors at a performing arts school, getting ready for their Senior Showcase recital, where the pressure is on to appeal to colleges, dance academies, and professionals in show business. For Sophie, a singer, it's been great to be friends with Emme, who composes songs for her, and to date Carter, soap opera heartthrob who gets plenty of press coverage. Emme and Ethan have been in a band together through all four years of school, but wonder if they could be more than just friends and bandmates. Carter has been acting since he was a baby, and isn't sure how to admit that he'd rather paint than perform. The Senior Showcase is going to make or break each of the four, in a funny, touching, spectacular finale that only Elizabeth Eulberg could perform.

My Review:
5/5 stars
I always love retelling of Cinderella. The cover is gorgeous, the red heel. Before I read this, I always wonder they show the bone. I didn't want to read the summary on goodreads because I didn't want to get spoiled or anything. I was so excited to finally get the book from the library!
As you know, It's a retelling of Cinderella. There's a step mother and two step sisters. The weird part is that one of the step sisters is really nice. Which is Cinder's friend. The Cinderella in this book name is Linh Cinder. I'm guessing everyone calls them by their last name? There's so much twist and turns in this book is like AHHHH!
Which one is eviler? The Queen or the Step mother? Oh I have no idea.... Both of them are so -___- I hate them both. I'm pretty sure all you guys already read this. So who do you think is evil?
I think this take place in the future. What I mean is, 4000. Cinder found a car and she said that they are ancient....
I really enjoy this book. I can't believe we have to wait for a year for the second book to come out. I finish this in a day. It was really really good! If you haven't read this yet, you need too!
